First steps
- Mine Aetherium Ore underground. It can be broken with a stone pickaxe or better.
- Smelt the ore in a furnace to get an Aetherium Ingot.
- Craft a full kit of Aetherium tools and armor — they are recognised like vanilla gear and take the usual enchantments.
- Build the frame and craft a Realm Igniter to open the way to the Enchanted Grove.
- Defeat foes and complete quests to earn XP, then spend skill points and pick an Aspect.
Where to go next
Once you can hold your own in the Grove, seek out a boss for a real test, light the runes in a sealed dungeon, or craft an Astral Compass to rise into the Astral Expanse.
